Trump Named Most Unpopular U.S. President in Economist’s History

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by Mehr News Agency, a joint poll conducted by The Economist and the YouGov institute has identified Donald Trump as the most unpopular U.S. president in the history of The Economist’s polls. Trump recorded a net popularity rating of negative 24 percent.
In this survey, 34 percent of respondents approved of Trump’s performance, while 58 percent disapproved, and 6 percent had no specific opinion. His net popularity has also decreased by 1.9 percentage points compared to the previous week.
The Economist, in its analysis of these results, reported that the consequences of the conflict with Iran have damaged Trump’s standing. Specifically, public assessment of his economic management, identified as the primary reason for the decline in popularity, has been significantly impacted.
