Israeli Military Lacks Strategy in Lebanon, Haaretz Reports

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Israeli newspaper Haaretz has sharply criticized the performance of the Israeli regime in Lebanon, stating that its military and political institutions lack any strategic goals on the Lebanese front. The newspaper described the conditions in Lebanon as similar to the developments in Gaza.
The newspaper attributed the primary objective behind this lack of planning to merely “prolonging the lifespan of the ruling coalition in Tel Aviv.” It severely criticized the technical weaknesses and military inefficiency of the Israeli army, adding that the army is incapable of confronting the threat of “fiber optic suicide drones.” Ground forces, in the face of these new threats, are reportedly resorting to installing “fishing nets,” indicating an inability to employ modern solutions.
In the concluding part of its report, the newspaper stated that continuing this war will lead to further casualties among Israeli soldiers and asserted that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu bears direct responsibility for this situation.
