Netanyahu Declares Broader Operations in Lebanon, Including Beirut and Bekaa

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has claimed that his forces have crossed the Litani River in Lebanon and gained control of strategic areas. In televised remarks from the occupied northern territories, Netanyahu stated that Tel Aviv’s operations now encompass Beirut, the Bekaa Valley, and the entire Lebanese front.
Netanyahu reiterated justifications for the intensified actions in Lebanon, alleging that Israeli military elements are solely targeting Hezbollah sites. Earlier, Eyal Zamir, the Chief of Staff of the Israeli army, visited southern Lebanon and issued further threats against the Lebanese Islamic Resistance, vowing more extensive attacks.
Meanwhile, Chai Levy, a correspondent for Israeli Channel 12, reported that Hezbollah has deployed numerous drones against Israeli soldiers in recent days, leading to a critical situation and significant damage to the army. These escalations and threats come as Lebanon enters its third round of peace negotiations with Tel Aviv, under American supervision. The Lebanese government’s silence has reportedly created opportunities for further Israeli occupation.
