Special Committee Established for Funeral of Martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Seyed Mohsen Mahmoudi, the head of the Islamic Propagation Coordination Council of Tehran Province, announced the formation of a special committee to organize the funeral procession for the “martyred leader.” He made these remarks on the sidelines of a ceremony commemorating the “martyred leader” and martyrs of the Islamic Revolution.
Mahmoudi stated that the grand and spiritual ceremony was held to honor the memory and ideals of the great martyred leader and the martyrs of the Islamic Revolution, with the public attending in large numbers to pay their respects. He emphasized that it is a duty to pay homage to this esteemed leader, referred to as the “Master of Martyrs of the Islamic Revolution,” who sacrificed not only his own life but also that of his close associates in the path of devotion. He also noted that some of these individuals were tragically martyred in criminal acts by Americans and terrorists.
Regarding the funeral procession, Mahmoudi indicated that while a specific and definitive date has not yet been set, a special committee has been established to prepare for a multi-million person funeral. Various organizations are reportedly maintaining readiness and coordinating efforts to ensure a fitting tribute when the time comes.
The head of the Islamic Propagation Coordination Council of Tehran Province further explained that organizations prepared to offer services can register in a designated system to facilitate early organization. He stressed that all capacities are active and ready to ensure a magnificent ceremony, but the final date remains undetermined and will be announced by the responsible authorities once decided.
Mahmoudi expressed confidence that the event will mark a memorable, multi-million person funeral that will be recorded in the history of Islam and Iran.
