Israel Claims Control of Southern Lebanon’s Al-Shaqif Castle Amid Heavy Clashes

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Israeli army has claimed the capture of Al-Shaqif Castle in southern Lebanon. Military sources within the Israeli regime further alleged that the army is working to maintain control over this region and the vicinity of the Al-Saluqi River. The occupation of this area reportedly followed intense clashes with Hezbollah forces, supported by significant aerial and ground operations. The Israeli army also issued an evacuation warning to residents in southern Lebanon and south of the Al-Zahrani River. Israeli War Minister Yisrael Katz claimed that, under the direction of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, control of this strategic point was seized by the Israelis to protect the occupied territories in the Galilee.
