Former Israeli Spy Pollard Warns of Future Wars Against Turkey and Egypt

Former Israeli spy Jonathan Pollard has sparked controversy with recent statements suggesting Tel Aviv should prepare for potential future conflicts with Turkey and Egypt. His remarks, made in late May 2026, framed threats against Iran as merely a prelude to wider regional aggression.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Hebrew-language website Nativ.net has reported that the recent remarks by Jonathan Pollard, a former spy for the Zionist regime, regarding the possibility of future military actions by the regime against Turkey and Egypt have stirred significant debate online. The Nativ.net report indicates that Pollard stated in late May 2026 that Tel Aviv needs to be ready for future wars against Egypt and Turkey, and that threats against Iran are merely a prelude to a broader storm against more countries in the region.

The report further states that Pollard identifies Turkey and Egypt as two strategic future threats to the Zionist regime. He made these pronouncements while announcing his entry into the political arena and his intention to seek a seat in the regime’s parliament.

The aforementioned website claimed that Pollard’s statements are personal opinions, and that he holds no official position within the regime. However, the emergence of such belligerent stances has led Egyptian media to highlight the Zionist regime’s expansionist ambitions concerning regional countries. These comments have incited a wave of anger and dissatisfaction among Arab media outlets, who believe Israel is not pursuing long-term peace.

It is noteworthy that Pollard was active as a spy for the Zionist regime in the United States during the 1980s, transferring classified American documents to Israel. This activity led to his arrest and a lengthy prison sentence in the United States.
