US Treasury Sanctions Palestine Action Movement

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the U.S. Department of the Treasury announced on Wednesday that it has placed the pro-Palestinian movement, Palestine Action, on its sanctions list. This announcement was made based on data published by Mehr News Agency, citing the U.S. Treasury Department’s website.
In its statement regarding the sanctions, the U.S. Treasury Department claimed: “Today, the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the U.S. Department of the Treasury took action to counter the growing threat posed by violent, far-left extremist terrorist groups.”
The U.S. Treasury Department further asserted that OFAC sanctioned the following entities: “Autistici Inventati,” an entity based in Italy that provides specialized digital infrastructure, tools, and services for “Antifa” cells and other violent, far-left extremists, including a designated foreign terrorist organization. “Palestine Action,” an organization based in the United Kingdom that was banned as a terrorist group by London in July 2025. Additionally, the transnational group “Masar Badil,” which operates as a front for the “Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine,” was also sanctioned.
