Kremlin States Ukraine War Could End in 24 Hours Through Negotiation

The Kremlin asserted that the conflict in Ukraine could conclude within 24 hours if Kyiv agrees to lay down arms and withdraw forces from Russian-controlled territories, emphasizing Moscow’s preference for a peaceful resolution.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Dmitry Peskov, spokesperson for the Russian Presidency, stated that Moscow has consistently advocated for achieving its objectives in Ukraine through peaceful means. Peskov alleged that Kyiv deliberately targeted the Luhansk college, a facility he described as never having been a military position and that the Kyiv regime was fully aware of this fact. He characterized Kyiv’s actions as deliberate, inhumane terrorist attacks against children, indicating a distinct pattern of conflict.

The Kremlin spokesperson further explained that Russia is conducting systematic strikes against the military infrastructure of the Kyiv regime in the capital and other cities. He reiterated that Russia will achieve its goals and is prepared to do so through peaceful negotiations. Peskov added that if Kyiv continues to refuse genuine negotiations and serious decisions for a peaceful settlement, the special operation will proceed. He maintained that the special operation could conclude in a single day if Ukrainian President Zelensky orders the armed forces to vacate territories under Russian sovereignty.

Peskov noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin has indicated that the Ukraine peace process has stalled, but this does not preclude ongoing contact with the United States. He confirmed that communications between Moscow and Washington continue uninterrupted through existing channels.
