Turkey’s Foreign Minister: Israel Opposes U.S.-Iran Peace, Violates Lebanon Ceasefire

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated that Israel sees no benefit in peace between the United States and Iran, and condemned Israel’s actions in Lebanon as a clear violation of the ceasefire.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has announced that Israel does not perceive its interests aligning with peace between the United States and Iran. Fidan also characterized Israel’s activities in Lebanon as a blatant breach of the existing ceasefire.

Speaking on the matter, Fidan elaborated that Israel is not inclined to see a peaceful resolution between Washington and Tehran. He further noted that Pakistan is dedicating significant efforts, and Turkey is collaborating with Qatar, to ensure the success of ongoing negotiations between the U.S. and Iran.

The Turkish diplomat emphasized the global need for a ceasefire across all fronts, specifically highlighting that Israel’s actions in Lebanon represent a clear violation of the established truce.
