Ukraine President Zelensky Says Russia Launched Hundreds of Drones and Missiles, Appeals for Patriot Systems

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Ukrainian officials claimed on Tuesday that Russia launched a significant barrage of missiles and drones across the country, causing at least 18 fatalities and injuring dozens more. This comes just days after President Volodymyr Zelensky warned of an impending large-scale assault by Moscow.
The Ukrainian Air Force stated that Russia fired 656 drones and 73 missiles toward Ukraine during the night. The primary targets reportedly included the capital Kyiv, the central city of Dnipro, and the eastern cities of Poltava, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia.
President Zelensky emphasized Ukraine’s critical need for American-made Patriot missile defense systems to protect against ballistic missile strikes.
