Arab League Nations Condemn Israeli Actions, Warn of ‘Reality Alteration’ in Palestinian Territories

Arab League member states at the United Nations have issued a strong condemnation of the Israeli government’s recent actions, warning that these moves are part of a coordinated strategy to undermine Palestinian rights and obstruct the formation of an independent Palestinian state.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Arab League members at the United Nations have issued a statement warning of the deteriorating situation in the West Bank, Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip. They assert that the recent measures by the Israeli cabinet are part of a unified strategy aimed at weakening Palestinian rights and eliminating the possibility of establishing an independent Palestinian state. The report, citing Iran’s Mehr News Agency and the Palestinian Shehab News Agency, highlights the concerns raised by these nations.

Representatives of Arab countries at the UN criticized the policies of the Netanyahu cabinet, specifically mentioning ministers Smotrich and Ben-Gvir. They stated that the current Israeli cabinet is exploiting regional circumstances to impose unilateral changes in the occupied territories.

The statement emphasized that expansionist settlement plans are being implemented with the goal of connecting Zionist enclaves and geographically dividing the West Bank. These actions, the statement argues, effectively push the conflict resolution based on the “two-state solution” into a deadlock.

Members of the Arab group at the UN also pointed to documented evidence of sexual assault and violence against Palestinian detainees, including women and girls, considering these incidents as part of organized policies.

The statement concluded by condemning actions against the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) and rejecting any attempts to alter the legal status of the territories occupied in 1967, including East Jerusalem.
