Hamas Condemns Killing of Palestinian Infant, Cites ‘True Face of Occupation’

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hamas has issued a statement condemning the killing of seven-month-old Sam Fahd Abu Hilel and the injury of his parents in a shooting attack south of Hebron in the West Bank. The statement described the incident as a demonstration of the “true face” of the terrorist and brutal occupying regime, which it claims considers Palestinian blood expendable and makes no distinction between children, infants, women, and the elderly.
Hamas extended condolences for the infant’s death, emphasizing that the child was martyred as a witness to the crimes and atrocities committed by the occupiers. The movement also wished for the swift recovery of the infant’s parents and family.
The statement asserted that regardless of the extent of repression and bloodshed by the occupiers, they will not be able to break the will and resilience of the Palestinian people, who will continue their path of steadfastness, confrontation, and resistance until the occupation is expelled from their land.
Hamas called on the international community, all free people, and legal and human rights organizations, particularly those focused on children’s rights, to act immediately and effectively. The movement urged them to exert all forms of pressure on the occupiers to halt their organized terrorism and ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people, their land, and their holy sites.
Israeli regime soldiers reportedly opened fire on a Palestinian family’s vehicle in the southern West Bank earlier today. The attack resulted in injuries to three family members, including an infant, who later succumbed to his wounds.
