US Did Not Intervene to Protect Israel Against Iranian Missiles, CBS Reports

A senior CBS News reporter based at the White House claimed, citing a U.S. official, that the U.S. military did not participate in Israel’s strikes against Iran. The report suggests the Trump administration provided no defensive measures for Israel against Iranian missiles.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, senior White House correspondent for CBS News, Jennifer Jacobs, claimed on the social media platform X that the U.S. military did not participate in Israel’s attacks against Iran. This statement, attributed to a U.S. official, marks the first such event since a ceasefire was established.

Jacobs further reported that the Trump administration took no defensive actions to safeguard Israel from Iranian missiles.

Hebrew-language media outlets had previously indicated that initial reports suggested a missile strike impacted the Kiryat area in northern occupied Haifa. Additionally, multiple powerful explosions were reportedly heard across occupied Palestine following the arrival of Iranian missiles.

Zionist sources stated that six missiles were launched towards northern occupied Palestine and Tel Aviv. Haaretz also reported that an Iranian missile that reached Tel Aviv minutes earlier was a barrage missile, causing significant explosions.
