Trump Confirms US Helicopter Crash Near Strait of Hormuz, Crew Safe

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, President Donald Trump stated that the two crew members of a helicopter that crashed near the Strait of Hormuz are safe. This statement follows earlier reports from The New York Times about the U.S. military helicopter incident near the Strait of Hormuz, with the newspaper emphasizing that it remained unclear whether the helicopter had crashed or been brought down by Iranian forces.
Regarding the regional situation, Trump expressed his belief that conditions in the area will stabilize, citing an agreement for a ceasefire between the parties involved. He claimed that economic sanctions against Iran are a more favorable option than military action, without referencing battlefield setbacks in conflict with Iran.
Concerning a potential deal with Iran, Trump indicated that he might have ideas to share in the coming days. He reiterated his consistent assertions, expressing hope for a favorable agreement with Iran and stating that the United States will never permit Iran to obtain nuclear weapons, envisioning a deal superior to the one negotiated under the Obama administration.
In relation to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who media had previously reported as disregarding Trump’s request to refrain from retaliating against Iran, Trump stated that he does not blame Netanyahu because Israel was under attack. He described his conversation with Netanyahu as positive.
