Islamic Jihad Vows Unwavering Stance Despite Gaza Operations

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Islamic Jihad movement in Palestine has issued a press statement condemning the Israeli military’s recent attacks on some of its cadres in the Gaza Strip. The statement came as Palestinian factions and forces were engaged in ceasefire negotiations in Cairo.

The movement reported that Israeli forces targeted several of its cadres in Gaza, resulting in the martyrdom of five cadres and fighters, as well as a number of civilian casualties. Islamic Jihad stated that these attacks and ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people in Gaza confirm the continued violation of the ceasefire by the occupation forces.

The movement asserted that these actions are part of an effort to impose security conditions through force, disregard all agreements, ignore mediation efforts, and deliberately sabotage attempts to compel adherence to agreed-upon terms, particularly the cessation of assassinations and the opening of crossings.

Islamic Jihad emphasized that the criminal actions of the occupation regime and its army will not deter the movement from its positions. Instead, it strengthens their resolve to adhere to their firm stances on all issues, including the withdrawal of occupation forces from the Gaza Strip, the opening of crossings, the entry of aid, and reconstruction efforts.
