Nordic and Baltic Nations Reiterate Hostile Stance Against Russia

Leaders from four Scandinavian countries and one Baltic nation have voiced renewed hostility towards Russia, asserting that Moscow’s actions pose a significant threat and pledging continued support for Ukraine.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, officials from four Scandinavian countries – Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Iceland – along with Latvia, a Baltic state, reiterated their antagonistic positions against Russia on Tuesday.

The Prime Minister of Norway asserted that Russia is launching unacceptable attacks into the depth of Ukrainian territory, highlighting the significant capabilities of the Ukrainian army and confirming ongoing cooperation with Kyiv.

Concurrently, the Prime Minister of Denmark claimed that Russia is threatening the use of force against Baltic NATO member states, emphasizing the need for self-armament and capability development.

The Prime Minister of Finland stated that Ukraine is now stronger and capable of striking deep into Russian territory, arguing that its survival is crucial for European security and that their support for Ukraine’s legitimate self-defense remains robust.

The Prime Minister of Iceland called for combating disinformation campaigns and pledged continued support for Ukraine.

The Prime Minister of Latvia asserted that Baltic nations must enhance their drone capabilities and secure their airspace, emphasizing the need to counter Russia’s shadow fleet and increase support for Ukraine.
