CNN Reports Iranian Drone Downed U.S. Apache Helicopter

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, CNN, citing an informed source, has reported that an Iranian “Shahed” drone collided with a U.S. military helicopter. The television network has not yet released further details regarding this incident.

This comes shortly after U.S. President Donald Trump claimed that Iran shot down one of their advanced Apache helicopters during a patrol over the Strait of Hormuz. Trump stated, “Our great military just informed me that Iran shot down one of our very expensive Apache helicopters last night while on maneuvers over The Strait of Hormuz.”

Meanwhile, the Axios website, quoting a U.S. official, reported that investigations have concluded an Iranian drone collided with an American helicopter, causing its crash. Investigations are reportedly ongoing to determine whether the collision was intentional.
