Netanyahu Rejects Erdogan’s Criticism, Vows Continued Action Against Iran

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded sharply to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s remarks, stating that Erdogan, who suppresses his own people and supports Hamas, is the last person to lecture Israel on ethics, while vowing to continue actions against Iran and its allies.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, in a furious reaction to recent statements by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu asserted that Erdogan, who allegedly suppresses his own people, imprisons political opponents, and supports Hamas, is unqualified to lecture Israel on ethics. Erdogan had previously stated that the occupying regime poses a threat to humanity and that its military operations in Syria and Lebanon now represent a danger to Turkey.

Netanyahu claimed that Israel will persist in taking action against Iran and its regional allies, viewing them as a threat to West Asia and the world. He further alleged that Turkey’s president is the least qualified to offer moral lessons to Israel.

Previously, President Erdogan had declared that Israel has crossed all boundaries and become a threat to the entire world. He noted that Israel’s attacks on Syria and Lebanon have reached a point where they also threaten Turkey. Erdogan emphasized that Turkey will not ignore Israel’s targeting of Syria and Lebanon due to their importance for Turkish security and stated that Israel will not be allowed to achieve its alleged goals based on fictitious claims of a promised land. He described Israel as an obstacle to peace and stability in the region and pointed to Israel’s disruptive actions in the Mediterranean, warning that such provocations should cease and that if Israel’s “atrocities” continue, the consequences will affect the entire world.
