Lieberman Declares US-Iran Deal a Major Victory for Tehran

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Avigdor Lieberman, the head of the Israeli Yisrael Beiteinu party, has asserted that the agreement reached between the United States and Iran constitutes an unmitigated victory for the ruling system in Iran. He further elaborated that this accord is a disaster for the Israeli regime.

Earlier, Barak Ravid, a correspondent for Israel’s Channel 12 television, citing an American official, claimed that U.S. President Donald Trump had emphasized to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that the deal with Iran was excellent and that the time had come to end the war. Ravid added that Netanyahu had not previously been informed of Trump’s stance on the agreement with Iran and was caught by surprise, finding himself in a difficult position. This development occurs despite consistently aligned stances and policies between Washington and Tel Aviv on various issues, particularly regarding hostile actions against Iran.
