Turkish Foreign Minister Discusses Iran-US Talks with Egyptian and Pakistani Counterparts

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held separate discussions with his Egyptian and Pakistani counterparts regarding ongoing supplementary negotiations between Iran and the United States aimed at establishing lasting peace.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by Mehr News Agency citing Anadolu Agency, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan engaged in separate phone conversations with the Foreign Ministers of Egypt and Pakistan, Badr Abdel Aty and Muhammad Ishaq Dar, respectively.

Sources within the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicated that these discussions focused on the supplementary negotiations between Iran and the United States, which are scheduled to take place with the objective of achieving sustainable peace.

Last Sunday, the United States and Iran, with Pakistan mediating, reached an agreement on signing a memorandum of understanding to end the conflict. U.S. President Donald Trump announced that this memorandum of understanding is slated for signing in Switzerland this Friday, with negotiations on other issues commencing on the same day.
