Trump Praises Soleimani’s Genius, Cites Role in Current Iranian Situation

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump lauded the “genius” of the late General Qassem Soleimani, asserting that his elimination played a crucial role in the current situation concerning Iran. Trump made these statements during a meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, which took place on the sidelines of the G7 summit held in Evian, France.

The American president remarked, “We took out a man named Soleimani. Do you think if he were alive, the current events [for Iran] would have happened? He was a genius. People forget that.” Trump further elaborated on his administration’s actions, stating, “I took out Soleimani during my first term as president. Without that action, we would probably not be in the position we are in today where we have complete dominance.”
