Trump Claims Iran Deal Secured Hormuz Strait and Prevented Nuclear Weapons

Former U.S. President Donald Trump asserted that the agreement with Iran guaranteed the opening of the Strait of Hormuz and prevented the nation from acquiring nuclear weapons, while also claiming it led to a significant drop in oil prices.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, …

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has claimed that a deal with Iran would end current conflicts, guarantee the opening of the Strait of Hormuz, and prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons. Trump stated, “If we had not made a deal with Iran, the Strait of Hormuz would not have opened.” He made these remarks without acknowledging that the Strait of Hormuz was open prior to what he termed American-Zionist aggression against Iran, nor did he address the consequences of creating unrest in the region.

Continuing his characteristic assertions, the former U.S. President claimed, “We reached an agreement with Iran that achieved everything we wanted and even more! The price of oil plummeted to unprecedented levels after the deal with Iran.”
