Putin: Russia and ASEAN Strive to Enhance Partnership

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on Wednesday that the presence of representatives at the Russia-ASEAN summit indicates a shared inclination to bolster the partnership between Moscow and the Southeast Asian bloc. Putin addressed the summit participants, highlighting that the event and the documents prepared for signing are poised to contribute to the development of this partnership.
The Russian President expressed optimism about the future of relations, noting that both Russia and ASEAN are actively working to deepen their collaboration. He further stated that Russia and ASEAN are united in their support for a just global order. Putin added that a key strength of their relationship lies in the fact that neither Russia nor the ASEAN member states impose their views on others. Moscow, he affirmed, is prepared to continue active and joint cooperation with ASEAN countries to reinforce their strategic partnership.
