Israeli Interior Minister Threatens Retaliation Against Lebanon After Soldier Deaths

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli Interior Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir released a statement on Friday reacting to a recent incident in southern Lebanon that resulted in the death of four soldiers and the injury of at least 17 others. Without acknowledging Lebanon’s defensive retaliatory actions, Ben-Gvir made a savage claim: “For every tear of an Israeli mother, a thousand Lebanese mothers must cry!”
The Israeli Interior Minister, who avoided mentioning violations of the ceasefire by his regime, asserted, “Following this escalation, all of Lebanon must burn.”
This declaration comes as Israeli media outlets previously acknowledged the deaths of four soldiers, including a battalion commander, in Lebanon the previous night.
The Israeli army reported the death of Lieutenant Colonel Dor Gedalia Ben Simhon, 32, in southern Lebanon.
Reports indicate that a suspicious airstrike last night targeted an Israeli occupation forces tank in southern Lebanon, leading to the death of several Israeli soldiers.
Al Jazeera also reported on the incident, stating that Israeli media, citing military sources, revealed a serious security incident occurred near Kfar Tibnit in southern Lebanon last night. A senior officer from the Israeli army’s 36th Division was also injured during last night’s clashes in southern Lebanon.
Investigations are underway to determine the identity of the suspicious object that targeted the Israeli tank, whether it was a drone or a guided missile.
According to reports, a suspicious object struck a tank belonging to the 52nd Battalion of the elite Givati Brigade, killing its commander.
