Russia Urges Full Adherence to Accord Between Iran and United States

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russia‘s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Friday that Moscow hopes the United States and Iran will fully and in good faith adhere to an agreement concluded between the two parties.
A statement published on the official website of the Russian Foreign Ministry stated: “Moscow hopes that agreements reached in good faith will be fully implemented.”
Meanwhile, Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, announced on Thursday that Moscow’s proposals for resolving the crisis surrounding Iran remain on the table and may still be needed.
Zakharova said at a press conference: “Our commitment to helping resolve the crisis related to Iran remains firm, and the practical proposals we have put forward are still on the table and, in our view, may still be needed.”
She added: “Now is not the right time to go into details, as the negotiation process has not yet concluded.”
According to reports, Iran and the United States electronically signed a memorandum of understanding on the evening of June 18, according to which the military conflict that began on February 28 will end.
This memorandum of understanding also sets a timeline for the lifting of the U.S. naval blockade and the full resumption of shipping traffic in the Strait of Hormuz by Iran.
