Israeli Minister Threatens Future Attack on Syria, Citing Turkish Relations

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli Minister of Immigrant Affairs Amichai Chikli expressed apprehension regarding the relationship between Syria and Turkey, stating that both nations pose a greater challenge to Israel than Iran. Chikli, a member of the ruling party led by Netanyahu in the occupied territories, added that Israel will attack Syria sooner or later.
This statement comes despite Syria not adopting a hostile stance against the Israeli regime since the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad’s government. Syria has not taken action against repeated ground and aerial aggressions by Israel and has even expressed its desire for an agreement with Tel Aviv multiple times.
In related developments, the Israeli regime previously thwarted Turkish intentions to establish military bases in Homs and Hama by bombing airports in these regions, compelling Turkish forces to withdraw.
