Pakistan’s Sharif Commends Iran’s Commitment to Middle East Peace, Praises Trump

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by Mehr News Agency, quoting Al Jazeera, Pakistan‘s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said on Sunday, after the first round of talks in Switzerland, that Iran’s leadership is sincerely continuing its efforts to support peace in the Middle East.
He noted, “I believe that Iran’s leadership is truly sincere in supporting peace in the region.”
At the same time, Sharif claimed that U.S. President Donald Trump is also committed to peace, and he has no doubt that Trump is a man of peace.
Yesterday, Sharif also commented on the negotiations between the United States and Iran in Switzerland, stating, “We are witnessing a great day for global peace.”
The Prime Minister of Pakistan added that the discussions between Iran and the United States will not only reduce regional tensions but could also lead to lasting stability and peace globally. Intensive efforts have led to a meeting between Washington and Tehran at Bürgenstock, and “we may return with a peace proposal.”
