Tehran and Muscat Emphasize Diplomatic Opportunities for Regional Stability

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Oman’s official news agency reported on its official X social media account that the Sultanate of Oman and the Islamic Republic of Iran have jointly emphasized the critical importance of utilizing the present diplomatic window to support peace initiatives, reinforce de-escalation efforts, and consolidate stability founded on international law and good neighborly relations.
The two sides further stipulated that this interactive approach must be earnestly pursued to safeguard enduring regional security and explicitly guarantee the safety of navigation in the strategic Strait of Hormuz and other vital international maritime routes.
This diplomatic stance and convergence were articulated during an official meeting in Muscat between Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, and his delegation, and Oman’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Badr Al-Busaidi. During the meeting, various dimensions of bilateral relations and the latest regional security and political developments were discussed and exchanged.
