Israel Expresses Concern Over Potential Captivity of Soldiers in Southern Lebanon

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by Mehr News Agency and cited by Al Jazeera, the Hebrew-language news site ‘Walla’ has reported, quoting a security source, that the Israeli regime is concerned about the potential captivity of its soldiers in the Kafr Tibnit region of southern Lebanon. These soldiers might be utilized for exchanges with Hezbollah fighters trapped within tunnels.
The source added that Israeli forces in southern Lebanon have received strict security directives mandating movement in pairs or trios, immediate readiness for air and ground support, and heightened vigilance against attacks on tanks, armored personnel carriers, jeeps, or buildings.
An Israeli military source informed the news site that some Hezbollah tunnels might have been specifically designed for such abduction, escape, or concealment operations, with many entrances being completely camouflaged.
Walla reported that this issue was discussed at high-level security levels within the Israeli regime yesterday, Tuesday.
