Trump Denounces Bolton as ‘Incompetent’ Amidst National Security Document Dispute

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, …
President Donald Trump has called for severe punishment for his former National Security Advisor, John Bolton, after Bolton admitted to illegally possessing sensitive national security information. Trump described Bolton as a “terrible person” and expressed hope that he would face harsh consequences.
The U.S. President, who himself has been a leading figure in global conflicts, stated, “Bolton has always sought to instigate problems and wars. He has played a provocative role in several political issues that have led to death and destruction.”
Trump further added, “Bolton, very stupidly, unbalanced, and incompetently, has recently confessed to his crime. He is a very bad and crazy individual.”
It is worth noting that John Bolton, former National Security Advisor to Donald Trump, admitted to the illegal retention of classified security information in notes prepared for a book. Bolton, who is now a staunch critic of the U.S. President, had previously faced 18 charges related to the mishandling of classified documents and initially pleaded not guilty.
He could face a maximum penalty of five years in prison. Bolton was dismissed from the first Trump administration in 2019.
