Magnitude 6 Earthquake Strikes Hindu Kush Region of Afghanistan

A powerful magnitude 6 earthquake has struck the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan, with tremors felt as far as Delhi and its surrounding areas. The epicenter was recorded at a depth of 100 kilometers, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a magnitude 6 earthquake has jolted the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan. The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) announced on Saturday that the seismic event’s epicenter was located at a depth of approximately 100 kilometers (62 miles) beneath the earth’s surface.

Following the earthquake, significant tremors were also experienced in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR). Further details regarding the impact and any potential casualties or damage have not yet been released.
