Georgian President to Attend Funeral of Iran’s Martyred Leader

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Georgian presidential office announced on Tuesday that Mikheil Kavelashvili, the president-elect of the Georgian Dream party, will attend the funeral of Iran’s martyred leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. This announcement follows earlier reports from Iranian media indicating an invitation had been extended to him.
The Georgian presidential office stated that President Kavelashvili will join leaders from countries in the region, including Turkey, Azerbaijan, Armenia, and others, for the ceremony in Iran. Reports also indicate that Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan, Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of Armenia, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, President of Turkmenistan, and representatives from Qatar and Pakistan are also expected to visit Iran.
