Iranian President Condemns Recent Aggressions as Clear Violation of International Law

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, welcomed special delegations from China, Namibia, and Afghanistan who were in Tehran to attend the mourning ceremony for the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution. He expressed gratitude for their presence and for the responsible stances and support of their respective governments in condemning the recent aggressions by the United States and the Zionist regime against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
During these meetings, the President highlighted the dimensions and consequences of the military actions by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran. He emphasized that the measures taken were a clear violation of the fundamental principles of the United Nations Charter, peremptory norms of international law, the principle of respect for national sovereignty, and all international humanitarian law standards.
Pezeshkian noted the martyrdom of several commanders, officials, scientific elites, and innocent citizens during these attacks, stating that targeting civilian centers and killing innocent people is a clear example of behavior contrary to accepted international rules. He affirmed that the Islamic Republic of Iran will vigorously pursue these crimes through all legal and diplomatic capacities, holding the perpetrators and their supporters accountable in international forums and institutions.
The President also underscored the Islamic Republic of Iran’s principled approach to strengthening regional stability and security. He reiterated that Iran has always sought relations based on good neighborliness, mutual respect, and shared interests with regional countries and remains determined to expand its ties with its neighbors. In this context, he expressed the expectation that no country will permit its territory, facilities, or capacities to be used by aggressors to act against the nation and sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Pezeshkian further stated that developing and deepening relations with friendly, fraternal, and aligned countries are strategic priorities of the Islamic Republic’s foreign policy. Referencing the extensive capacities between Iran and the countries of China, Namibia, and Afghanistan, he emphasized Iran’s readiness to expand cooperation in political, economic, commercial, investment, cultural, scientific, technological, and people-to-people exchanges.
The special delegations from China, Namibia, and Afghanistan conveyed messages of condolence and sympathy from their high-ranking officials on the martyrdom of the leader of the Islamic Revolution. They emphasized respect for the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Islamic Republic of Iran and called for the expansion of bilateral relations and cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran in various fields.
