International Bloc Attends Islamic Culture Event in Tehran, Countering Western Narratives

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hojatoleslam Imani-Pour, head of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, stated that the recent event in Tehran was attended by esteemed guests from 30 significant foreign nations. This substantial international presence reportedly surprised many foreign media outlets and even, according to reports, former President Donald Trump, who was taken aback by the high turnout of foreign leaders and officials.
Imani-Pour emphasized the crucial need to disseminate an accurate and authentic depiction of the event globally. He noted that a considerable number of international media representatives are currently in Tehran, complemented by international bloggers and influencers who are covering the event through various media formats.
Estimates suggest that around 400 bloggers from diverse countries are in Iran, having successfully transmitted compelling videos and images from the event to an international audience. This influx of content is seen as effectively neutralizing the Western media’s efforts to portray a different image of Iranian society. Instead, it has highlighted the genuine grief and deep affection of the Iranian people for their leader.
The head of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization believes that unless the media landscape is democratized and public capacities are leveraged, dominant media channels will continue to be controlled by entities seeking to censor or misrepresent Iran. Therefore, the current approach of engaging bloggers, influencers, and popular media platforms is considered the most effective strategy for conveying a true and accurate image of Iran through diverse and impactful formats.
These individuals can demonstrate that Iran is more than the narrative presented by Western media, characterizing it as a nation with cultured, loyal people possessing deep spiritual and social foundations. Imani-Pour attributed the enduring dignity bestowed upon the Iranian people to the late Imam. He stated that Iranians feel valued, proud, and respected globally, leading many to feel indebted to the late Imam and to attend out of sincere devotion. This expression of affection and presence is not merely a fleeting emotion but a testament to the profound connection between the people and their aspirations, national pride, and revolutionary identity.
