US Expresses Concern Over China’s Missile Development
The United States has voiced concerns over China’s opaque military development, particularly following a ballistic missile test in the Pacific Ocean, urging Beijing to engage in serious arms control talks.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the U.S. Department of State has announced its concern regarding China’s lack of transparency in its military capabilities, especially after a submarine launched a ballistic missile in the Pacific Ocean. The State Department called on Beijing to participate in serious and effective discussions on arms control and reduction.
Furthermore, the U.S. Department of State emphasized that China should adhere to a system of advance notification for intercontinental ballistic missile launches and space launches.
