Explosions Near Macron’s Residence in Damascus Reported

Two explosions have been reported near the Ministry of Tourism in Damascus, occurring in close proximity to the accommodation of French President Emmanuel Macron. The incident took place shortly after Macron’s recent visit to Syria and his meeting with Abu Mohammad al-Julani.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, two explosions have been reported near the headquarters of the Syrian Ministry of Tourism in Damascus, based on data published by Mehr News Agency citing Al Jazeera. It has been emphasized that these explosions occurred near the residence of Emmanuel Macron, the President of France, in Damascus. Macron recently traveled to Syria and met with Abu Mohammad al-Julani, the self-proclaimed president of that country.

Reuters also reported explosions in Damascus.

Meanwhile, Syria’s Al-Akhbariya reported that al-Julani welcomed Macron at the Presidential Palace concurrently with the sound of these explosions being heard.
