Lebanon’s Shiite Mufti Declares Martyr Leader’s Funeral a Historic Regional Event

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Lebanon‘s Shiite Mufti, Ahmed Qabalan, declared during a public gathering organized by Hezbollah concurrent with the funeral of the martyred leader of the revolution in Iraq that the procession for Martyr Sayyed Ali Khamenei is a historic event for the region. Speaking at the event, Qabalan highlighted Iran’s unwavering commitment to Lebanon, stating that Iran has always considered Lebanon an absolute priority concerning its sovereignty and national interests.

The Mufti further emphasized the critical and decisive nature of the current phase, stressing the need for precise stances and strategic choices. He added that in line with its historical commitment to Lebanon’s interests and sovereignty, Iran has also adhered to the options set forth by Martyr Sayyed Ali Khamenei. Qabalan also asserted that Lebanon’s political structure and national participation will never be sacrificed for its regional or international relationships.
