Bahraini Youth Mourn Martyred Iranian Leader, Pledge Allegiance to New Leader

Despite severe restrictions against Shia Muslims in Bahrain, young citizens have held mourning ceremonies for the martyred leader of Iran and engaged in chest-beating processions in the streets. They have also declared their allegiance to Iran’s new leader.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, in data released by the Mehr News Agency, young Bahraini citizens, notwithstanding intense restrictions imposed on Shia Muslims within the country, have organized ceremonies to mourn the martyred leader of Iran, participating in chest-beating processions in the streets. They have also officially pledged their allegiance to the new leader of Iran.

This development occurs just days after the ruling regime in Bahrain commenced the trial proceedings for a group of prominent Shia clerics, following the referral of their cases to the High Criminal Court.
