Kuwait Reports Attacks on Three Border Posts; U.S. Conducts Strikes Near Strait of Hormuz

Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense announced that three land border posts in the north of the country were targeted, causing material damage, while the U.S. military reportedly conducted strikes against Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps assets near the Strait of Hormuz.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Kuwait‘s Ministry of Defense issued a statement on Sunday, claiming that three land border checkpoints in the northern part of the country were attacked, resulting in material losses. The statement also indicated that an offshore drilling rig belonging to the Kuwait Oil Company, situated within Kuwaiti territorial waters, was targeted by a hostile drone, leading to the injury of one worker.

Concurrently, Axios, citing a U.S. official, reported that the U.S. military carried out attacks approximately one hour prior against missile systems, air defense units, and small boats belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps at two locations near the Strait of Hormuz.
