Yemen Declares End to Truce After Saudi Attack on Sana’a Airport

The Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs has declared an end to the de-escalation and ceasefire phase following Saudi Arabia’s targeting of Sana’a International Airport, signaling a new phase of conflict and holding Riyadh fully accountable for the consequences.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a strong statement asserting that the Saudi regime’s unprecedented attack on Sana’a Airport has effectively ended the “de-escalation” and “ceasefire” phase, amounting to a declaration of war. The ministry stressed that the Saudi regime must bear full responsibility for this action and all its ensuing consequences.

The statement detailed that throughout the years since the de-escalation phase was announced, the Saudi regime has consistently sought to subjugate the Yemeni people to serve Zionist interests by tightening the siege and imposing a comprehensive economic war.

The ministry concluded its statement by declaring, “With this criminal act, we begin a new phase, with the help of Almighty God, to reclaim our full and unimpeded rights. The Saudi regime will soon realize that it has trapped itself in a major strategic deadlock and will pay a heavy price for this action.”

Moments before the statement, the Saudi army carried out several airstrikes on Sana’a International Airport. Yahya Saree, the spokesperson for the Yemeni armed forces, confirmed the news and stated that the enemy Saudi attack on Sana’a International Airport marked the end of the de-escalation phase between the two parties. He emphasized that this aggression would not go unanswered.
