Iranian Navy Strikes Two Super Tankers in Strait of Hormuz

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Public Relations department of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a statement regarding an incident in the Strait of Hormuz. The statement, invoking Quranic verses, declared that the IRGC Navy remains committed to upholding the rights of the Iranian people in the strategic waterway.
The IRGC’s statement alleged that the “child-killing” U.S. military, undeterred by previous setbacks, attempted to provoke vessels and guide some through an “illegal” passage. It claimed that two “violating” super tankers, having been “deceived” by the U.S., proceeded to endanger maritime traffic by disabling their navigation systems and disregarding repeated warnings from the Strait of Hormuz Maritime Traffic Control Center. The tankers reportedly chose to traverse a mined path.
Subsequently, the IRGC announced that these two super tankers were struck and incapacitated. The IRGC Navy issued a general warning, asserting that cooperation with an “invading” enemy, which has traveled thousands of kilometers to infringe upon the rights of regional populations, and proceeding through mined routes will only result in regret, damage, and delays in reopening the Strait of Hormuz, potentially creating a global energy crisis.
