Trump also commented on Al-Zaydi’s rise to premiership, stating a preference for his leadership due to his rival’s perceived hostility towards Washington.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, United States President Donald Trump stated today, Tuesday, during a meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaydi that a strong partnership in the oil sector with Iraq would be forged and announced soon. Trump made these remarks while addressing what were described as baseless promises.
The US President further claimed that he desired Al-Zaydi’s ascent to the position of Prime Minister of Iraq, asserting that his rival held hostile stances towards Washington.
