Netanyahu Faces Humiliating Exit from Israeli Parliament Amid Domestic Unrest and International Warrants

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, grappling with a severe domestic legitimacy crisis, was met with fierce anger and protests from opposition lawmakers during a parliamentary session to discuss a contentious bill exempting Haredi Jews from military service. Opposition representatives, chanting “Get out” and “Shame on you,” compelled Netanyahu to make a humiliating departure from the parliament building before the session concluded.
Concurrent with this internal embarrassment, judicial sources reported that the Istanbul Criminal Court of First Instance issued an international arrest warrant for Netanyahu, prosecuting him for war crimes related to the “Global Freedom Flotilla” incident. The court has finalized the indictment with severe charges including “crimes against humanity,” “genocide,” “destruction of property,” “torture,” and “deprivation of liberty,” seeking the maximum penalty of life imprisonment.
This case pertains to the brutal attack by the Israeli Navy in October 2025 on civilian ships of the Freedom Flotilla, which were carrying humanitarian aid for the people of Gaza. During that attack, Israeli soldiers raided the civilian vessels in international waters, seizing them and detaining hundreds of international activists.
The issuance of this judicial red notice represents a formal step towards the international prosecution of Netanyahu and further highlights the political and legal isolation of the so-called “criminal” regime.
