Pakistan: Police Killed and Injured in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Attacks

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by Mehr News Agency and quoting Agence France-Presse, at least three police officers were killed and twenty others were injured during two separate attacks in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.
The report indicates that in the first incident, armed individuals targeted a security forces convoy in the “Upper Dir” region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. This attack resulted in the deaths of three police officers and injuries to fifteen others.
Hours after the first incident, a car bomb exploded at a police station in the city of Bannu, also in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. At least five police officers were injured in this subsequent attack.
No individual or group has yet claimed responsibility for these attacks.
