Ukraine Open to Ceasefire, Proposes Turkey as Venue for Putin-Zelensky Talks

Ukraine’s Foreign Minister stated the nation is prepared for a ceasefire with Russia and suggested Turkey as a potential location for possible talks between Presidents Putin and Zelensky.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Ukraine‘s Foreign Minister, Andriy Sibyha, announced the nation’s readiness for a ceasefire during a joint press conference with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in Kyiv. Sibyha emphasized Ukraine’s willingness to engage in negotiations and proposed Turkey as a potential host for a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The Ukrainian Foreign Minister further indicated that holding a summit could inject new momentum into the peace process.
