Iran Strikes Kurdish Separatist Bases in Iraq’s Kurdistan Region, 8 Dead

Iranian missile strikes targeting bases of separatist groups in Iraq’s Kurdistan Region have resulted in at least eight fatalities and several injuries. The operations have been ongoing for three days.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Iran has conducted missile attacks on the headquarters of separatist parties in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, resulting in eight deaths and multiple injuries, according to information published by Mehr News Agency, citing Al Jazeera. The Komala Party, a separatist group, was reportedly targeted in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq.

Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in Sulaymaniyah reported that Iran’s operations aimed at positions held by separatist groups in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq have been ongoing for three days.

The ‘Naya’ Telegram channel, quoting a leader of the Komala terrorist group, stated that the group’s headquarters in Sulaymaniyah was hit by six missiles. Three of these missiles struck a location where eight members were killed, while the other three hit a different area.
