Yemen Warns Saudi Arabia of Retaliatory Measures Over Blockade

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Yemen‘s Minister of Defense, Mohammed Al-Atifi, emphasized that the armed forces are ready to execute any orders from the leader of Ansar Allah should the blockade of the country persist. He issued a clear warning to the aggressor nations, particularly the Saudi enemy and those complicit in the blockade, stating that the Yemeni armed forces possess the capability to respond. The readiness level of the forces has been significantly enhanced in recent days to carry out the directives of the Ansar Allah leader. Yemen is prepared to implement any response equation involving blockade for blockade, airport for airport, and port for port.
This warning follows a recent speech by the leader of the Ansar Allah movement, who declared that the new equation is: Sana’a Airport versus Riyadh Airport; airport for airport, port for port, and blockade for blockade. He asserted that Saudi Arabia’s insistence on escalating tensions stems from its refusal to accept the lifting of the blockade, placing the Kingdom in a false, oppressive, and aggressive position. The leader questioned Saudi Arabia’s motives for continuing to impose a blockade, starve the Yemeni people, and deny them access to oil and gas wealth and associated revenues. He further inquired why Saudi Arabia insists on the Yemeni population suffering from hunger, widespread poverty, and daily hardship, suggesting these actions serve Zionism.
