Intense India-Pakistan Border Clash Erupts in Kashmir

Heavy gunfire erupted between Indian and Pakistani forces for two hours along the Line of Control in the Rajouri sector of Kashmir, marking the most significant exchange of fire since a ceasefire agreement in May 2025.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, NDTV reported a fierce two-hour exchange of fire between Indian troops and Pakistani forces along the Line of Control in the Rajouri sector of Kashmir. Indian soldiers reportedly prevented infiltrators from crossing the country’s borders.
This incident represents the largest exchange of fire between Indian and Pakistani military personnel since the announcement of a ceasefire in May 2025, amid escalating bilateral military tensions. India launched a military operation in Kashmir in April 2025 following an explosion in the town of Pahalgam, targeting militant positions within Pakistani territory. This action led to confrontations between the two countries’ forces.
