Israeli Source: Iranian Missiles Could Reach Israel in 8 Minutes Amid Escalation Warnings

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, an Israeli military source on Sunday cautioned against the possibility of intensified conflict with Iran, asserting that such a scenario could fundamentally alter the dynamics of the confrontation between the two sides.

The Israeli source indicated that any missile fired from Iranian soil could reach Israel in approximately eight minutes. This timeline underscores the urgent need to elevate air defense systems to the highest level of readiness.

The Israeli media outlet Maariv reported that the United States has bolstered its military presence in Israel, permitting dozens of refueling aircraft to land at five locations, including Ben Gurion Airport and the Nevatim and Ramon air bases. This deployment is intended to provide support for aerial operations if necessary.

Citing Israeli military sources, Maariv further stated that current assessments do not suggest that Iran currently intends to attack Israel. These sources described the current U.S. strikes as limited and calculated. However, they also issued a warning: if sensitive facilities within Iran or its energy infrastructure were targeted, Tehran might retaliate by targeting Israel.
