US Acknowledges Military Casualties in Iraq Amidst Iranian Drone Incident, Citing Defense Weaknesses

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, CNN has reported that U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has made a notable shift in acknowledging weaknesses in his country’s military defenses. Rubio, who had previously downplayed Iran’s military capabilities, claimed that the death of an American soldier in Iraq was an ‘accident’ that occurred during an encounter with an Iranian drone.
Rubio further stated that an Iranian missile managed to penetrate Jordan’s air defenses last Friday, despite the interception of most incoming projectiles. This statement follows previous acknowledgments from the U.S. military’s Central Command, which had admitted that two American soldiers were killed and one went missing as a result of Iranian attacks on the successful Al-Sultiyah base in Jordan.
